Exactly how many bombs will the Heatblur F-14 carry?
So, I have an idea as to what kinds of bombs the F-14 will carry, but I can't get an exact answer on the number of bombs it can carry in a single sortie. Particularly the Mk-82. I really look forward to getting my hands on the F-14, but I would like to have a better idea of it's strike capabilities. Simply put, how many Mk-82's will the Heatblur F-14 be able to carry?

18 MK-82's, 10 MK-83's, 4 MK-84's, 4 MK-20's, 28 Zuni rockets, 4 GBU 12's, I'm unsure about the GBU-10's and GBU-24's, I think those are about 2, but I think that depends on the combination of the loadout.

Wow, that's really cool. Thanks for the info. I didn't even know they carried rockets at all, so that's a plus. I use them for SEAD more than HARM actually, so that's great. And if it does carry 18 Mk-82s, then that is just perfect.

Well, the Su-25t has Kh-58s and the AV/8B Harrier has the sidearms. The F/A-18 is getting HARM very soon.

Less than the F-35.

The F-35 in beast mode can carry a whopping amount of AMRAAMs.

Those are not. But those are passive radar guided missiles. Just like HARM.

Got it Norris, the next time someone asks me what missile I fired when I'm on a red team, I'll tell them the AIM7 :D

None, apart from making people wonder if they missed an update from DCS, which I'm not trying to make an issue of.

I'd love to fly fast strike aircraft in DCS, such as the F-15E or F-111. F-14 with bombs is a step in the right direction for me.
