Why dont people use the Eagle and Flankers to SEAD S300 and Patriot systems?

I've been able to do it and I've had a ~95% success rate with the SU33, more than the Eagle

I've only tried this with the custom missions I've made and YES I have spawned the aircraft 100kms away and given them time to start up, YES they do engage me from ~40-60KM (based on altitude)
But why dont people in DCS servers do this more often? I have yet to see a youtube video about this.

Yes. Well usually if you fly the Eagle, you're up against the Soviet S300, they have MASSIVE radars and are thus easy to shoot with the AA guns of the eagle.

Su-27, SU-33, F-15C can not carry the passive radar guided A-G missiles.

F-16 and Hornet can carry HARMs
SU-25T have special passive radar pod "fantasmagoria"
Also Viggen has ELINT and passive radar mode.

IMO there is just bad costs-risk ratio. Noone wants to use the nuke for light targets because it is too expensive. But also noone wants to die.

True mate, perhaps that is why its not being done on servers. But for certain situations like when there is a standalone patriot or s300 system that doesnt have short range SAMs defending it then this technique is very much always a success.

in any "realistic" mission profile, you would never be able to get that close to S300 SAM sytem

not because S300 is uber good at destroying planes, but beacuse it would be surrounded by a lot of medium and small range SAM, plus a "few" anti aicraft guns

I agree, in a realistic mission scenario it would be impossible, but from the servers I've played on hardly any of them use SAMs like the S300 or the Patriot but in the few that do, they dont have short range or medium range SAMs guarding it

Use F-16 AI SEAD zerg rush the S300. that thing can shoot down anti-radar missiles. poweroverwhelming

From what I’ve heard and seen dcs missiles are quite forgiving. Real S300 would make eagle, flanker run for mommy.

haha true, im not saying they are ♥♥♥♥♥.
I have two things in mind, first to let other users see how its possible to sead with these aircrafts in DCS and second, get a fix for it

I don't really understand the point of the thread. SAMs have minimum altitudes, they can't fire below.

You can deny this tactic via other defense units. That is logical. Looks like OP is protesting public mission design.
