the 5F is air-air only
Mirage 5 is a ground attack fighter...radarless, meant for Middle eastern customers. Originally without radar, but Radar is also an option for most other variants....
The Mirage 5F air to air is secondary ability.
Its slightly much more modern than Mirage 3.
Would love to see a different Mirage like the F1 model.
Yeah, you're right but it can sortie at night....He means the Mirage-2000-5F
How is the Ka 50 ?
Mig 21? Its a challenging plane to land...
MiG-21 bis is pretty easy to learn but u can't enjoy it much online. The radar is ♥♥♥♥ and it doesn't have fly-by-wire controls so it's a bit 'sensitive' or jumpy.....
It's complex in terms of many buttons and systems but pretty easy to fly and do the basic stuff like firing the cannon, and even launching one or 12 Vikhr.
Ah...my bad. I thought the old Mirage 5F.
Still, the Mirage 2000-5F was just an upgrade of the Mirage 2000C to Multi role capability. It was not stricttly air to air. It also had extra hardpoints for the new active radar MICA missiles.
Landing on load is not impossible in DCS. I have experimented with it. Just a bit higher speed on landing, like plus 420kph and higher AoA on flare. My load was take off with 3 fuel tanks, they heaviest tanks and 4x Aphids. Do a basic circuit, and land.
Now if only DCS...much later developed the F-104 module. Would love to try that...
420kph was the approach speed. The touch down speed was less, with higher AoA on the flare.
