Me 163 Komet

I wasn't sure hom much DCS news reaches the steam crowd, but a team called Komet simulations, is, well, making a Komet simulation for DCS. It's very early in development and there's of course uncertainty as there is with everything early in development. Either way, thought you guys would find this cool if you didn't already know!

just saw it.......what in the world is that thing lol? Is it meant to confuse the enemy to the point where they can't tell if its a giant zuchini or a plane?

It was build to do fast take off and quickly climb using rocket engine to incoming Allied bombers to take down a few. Due to very limited fuel pilot suppose to glide down after.

Main problem, but not by any means the only problem, with the Me-163 Komet was the fuel was explosive if shaken. So when the semi-trained pilots came in to land on a rough field on a single ski-like skid for landing gear with a bit of fuel still in the tanks there were far too many case where the whole tiny aircraft and pilot exploded.
