Mig-29 HDD confusion ?
So I read the manual for Su-27/33 and Mig-29 Radar Modes. I liked the Su-27 for its HDD. I noticed that the Mig-29 HDD is basically just the display of the HUD. In the manual, it says that the HDD will show waypoints etc. if switched to NAV Mode and when radar is engaged and BVR Mode on, it will show radar contacts and radar seeker cone. However, I cannot get the HDD of the Mig-29 to get these displays. It only stays with the redundant HUD. Am I missing something ?

the manual may be outdated, the mig-29 HDD only repete the HUD display.

Yeah seems like it. The radar works completely fine. Should change that in the manual.
