DCS World Community Hub Rules

1.1 "Digital Combat Simulator" DCS and its associated DLC are entertainment products and this community hub is intended for a general audience. As such, it is strictly prohibited to post material considered inappropriate for minors or discriminating toward any individual or group, including:
- Profanity
- National, ethnic, racial, religious and sexual discrimination
- Postings violating laws and regulations

Offenders of this rule will receive 1 week ban, if continued, the ban time will be increased until it becomes permanent.

1.2 Community Hub members must treat each other with respect and tolerance; this includes the moderators and developers.

After an initial warning, offenders of this rule will receive 1 week ban, if continued, the ban time will be increased until it becomes permanent.

1.3 Administrative actions against Community Hub members are not subject to public discussion. If you feel an action against you was unjust or otherwise inappropriate, please send a Private Messaging to appeal the action to other DCS World Community Hub staff members or the DCS World Community Hub administrator.

1.4 Posts/threads that undermine the actions of the DCS World Community Hub staff, such as opening threads that are redundant, disruptive or deal with topics that have been previously locked, will result in administrative actions against the user.

The post will be removed, continued offences could result in a 1 week ban, if continued the ban time will increase until it becomes permanent.

1.5 Any and all Off Topic posts will be deleted without notice. Posts should be on topic based on the thread title, and threads should on topic based on the DCS World Community Hub section they are posted in. Posts that are attempts to hijack, troll, or ask questions that have been answered already will also be considered OT and removed. Repeat offenders may receive warnings.

User will receive warnings, if this is repeated; the user could receive a 1 week ban.

1.6 No multiplayer disputes on the DCS World Community Hub, including inter-squad flamewars.

1.7 No political, social or cultural disputes on the DCS World Community Hub.

1.8 Material and links to material that includes copyrighted content or information on and/or promotes software piracy is strictly prohibited.

These posts will be removed, and user will be banned from the Hub permanently.

1.9 Advertisement of any products or services without prior consent from the DCS World Community Hub staff is strictly prohibited.

These posts will be removed.

1.10 Product feedback and constructive criticism is encouraged when provided in a mature and courteous manner. However, feedback that is abusive, insulting or condescending is not welcome. Additionally, to bring up a particular issue repeatedly after it has already been acknowledged will be considered "trolling".

1.11 Threads and posts pertaining to the selling or trading of "DCS" keys are not allowed.

1.12 News Items and Announcement are meant to supply users with information and updates about DCS World, efforts to disrupt, steer to another topic or general disregard for the topic given will be deleted without warning.

1.13 It's forbidden to create threads/topics containing in their title/body:
- hyperbolic, rude or strong language, also partially or completely masked by other symbols like: @#$%^, etc;
- no link to forum section (flame);
- no link to topic (off topic);
- meaningless or no valuable information (flood);
- same information covered in other sections/threads/posts (cross posting);
- over 70% of capital letters for except of abbreviations;
- non-informative content like: "Help me!", "I have a question...", "rant", "I don't know what to do", "+=Super Pack=+" or meaningless set of symbols and letters.

Posts will be removed; repeat offenders will receive a ban.

1.14 Discussions of other game companies products are forbidden. While we allow news and updates to be posted in our Chit Chat section, we do not allow the discussion, reviewing of, or comparison of other software here. Abuse of other companies and/or anyone related to those companies will not be tolerated. ED also reserves the right to remove any thread or post about another game or company it deems doesn't comply with this rule.
