Carrier spawning multiple aircraft in Multiplayer
Sooo... I am trying to make a mission for my friends in which we take off from the Ramp on a Carrier... but the game keeps spawning us in the same location following up with a nice bang... is there a way to designate the spawning location for the aircraft that are placed? (only 4 if i got it right) Also is there a way to place static aircraft? its kinda ... empty on board

Thanks in advance!

Static aircraft are done by placing static objects and linking them to the carrier with an offset fixation. You can then position them as needed.

As for the parking, my guys are at a loss too. Nothing we've tried allows us to start together on the ramp of the Stennis in Tomcats. Hornets work occasionally

They aren't asking about static objects!?

In answer to the OP's question, simply set your aircraft to the deck as you no doubt already have and on each client aircraft assign a different "runway" number (1 to 4). However, what I find happens is that when I spawn in as host I am always started in a parking spot, and others upon their first spawn also start on a parking spot, but those clients then will subsequently spawn on the designated runway, while I still spawn over and over again on a parking spot.
It must be bugged.
If it was an airbase, then I can set "hot on ramp" or something to that effect and set a parking spot number, but the carrier doesn't have parking spot numbers, they refer to runway / catapult numbers instead.
The bug I mention above is also worse when launched as a single player mission too as I then spawn in the centre of the deck instead.

yup that Part can be done specially nicely since we can see the Carrier once in the editor zoomed all the way in :) without that it was guessing, the original question was about this and the fact that live aircraft crashed on spawning despite checking different start positions, tho since than I did not really fiddle around and as a general rule of thumb me and my friends decided to wait out until someone starts up their aircraft and roll away if they spawned in the spot that usually caused the explosions to others

Yeah that's one suggestion I read. Another involved specifying parking which limits you to 4 planes per carrier, 8 if you put people on take off runway. This kind of worked with Hornets for us but not with Tomcats. Another suggestion was to leave the parking alone once you place the aircraft and make sure the mission is unpaused before players slot up. This didn't work for us at all.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as we are trying to bring things together to form a carrier based group.
