I have NTTR an like it very much. It's pretty fun to Hover with the AV8B across the Strip. Nellis is lovely and many other Airports too. But for now i would wait for the Sale (End June?)
So, Persian Gulf today, and Nevada later when it's cheaper...just my Cents...
To be honest I think both Nervada and persian gulf i a bit boring.. ( I like the original map the most)
Yes there are more or less most details arround the biggest citys, and you find some roads in the desert and smaller cities here and there.
Both maps have mountains you can fly near and follow ect.
In my humble oppinion the persian gulf map is better than Nervada.
Reason are you can make many interesting scenarious with carrier ship ( exmaple with the f18 ) and mimic a US war with othern ations. Or play as one nation on one side of the water and another on the other side ect. Also if you like mountain flying then you can from dubai example attack iran and sneak in via the mountains.
Well there are many cool missions that can be made.
Also the map is huge, you can do some really long missions.
And it is more easy to find the enemy in the desert than in the original map where there are allot of trees and hills ect.. :)
What both maps have in common are that there are most detail near the large citys and other than that they seem a bit empty...
Actual i think that is maybe why they desided to make these maps since there properbly are less work than example the original map that have citys all over the place and so on.. it simply take less time to make dubai city, than place example 500 citys on the map of various size including trees, bridges ect.
SOH/PG will probably be your best choice for multiplayer, since it offers separation between forces along with setting for a larger conflict. WIth the coming F-14, we will also be able to hold some great red vs blue scenarios with realistic aircraft. It seems to be pretty popular, and it's actually being worked on, while it seems like they've abandoned NTTR as they have the A-10 and Ka-50.
I dont know even how can shoot with my joystick xD
I will buy Persian Gulf
Thank you
I have my money ready for F-18 and Persian Gulf
