difference between Logitech x52 pro and saitek x52 pro?
i see that the saitek one costs 740 Shekels (200$ around)
and the Logitech one costs 925 Shekels (257$)
why? did Logitech improved the stick and throttle? whats the catch here?

My story about this case:
The Logitech has made quide affordable HOTAS with the pedals and with the FORCE FEEDBACK for very nice price, called G940. But, the price reflected the quality. There was a lot of technical problems with this set. I claimed it three times and then i sold them.

So my opinion is: The Logitech has found that their new product sucks. Fortunately for them the company Mad Catz which was in that time in auction and owned the Saitek was easy buy for Logitech, so the did. So, because they make ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hardware, they are selling the hardware made by someone else. Shame.

so whats youre telling me is that logitech bought saitek and sells THE SAME PRODUCT (exactly?) for 50$ more?

Yes, exactly. BTW If you decide to buy the saitek rhino, make sure that you have plugged it in the USB 3. There are some issues with the ghosting when the stick is not in USB 3.

Logitech was good, while it was a swiss brand. Since they went global you simply pay too much for what they offer. I hope they won't tarnish the Saitek brand, cause I always liked Saitek for their affordable and not so bad peripherals. I still own an old Cyborg 3D which I bought back in the day around Falcon 4.0 or something like that and it's still working. Sure, no comparision to my Warthog, but I still use it, when I have to work afar and can't get my whole setup with me ^^

The fact is they make quite good headsets. I like its modularity. But as I wrote, their last flight product: Logitech G940 was mistake.

X52 once is outdated discontinued by saitek.
logitech said they bring the same team back. basically everything same from saitek.
The early produced X52 had some good name( by standard at that time).
Later some business changed. saitek got some infame by their QC works.

Im not sure the X52 is still using 11bits sensor(2048 steps). But the member from original team(now join logitech) said about "sensor","they're not faulty, but the mod that people mention can increase sensitivity, especially on a stick that has seen plenty of use. For the vast majority of people though, it's completely unnecessary."
So i think there is nothing changed and they probably think nothing need be improved.

thats lame.

Just same story like their Logitech Extreme 3D pro. Quite old piece of hardware. It was good when it was released cca 10-15 years ago. But now it is just bad. They did not improve anything on it. Maybe the price but that's all.

I have the extreme 3d pro and it’s almost impossible to aerially refuel with that stick. Too stiff and too grainy. Can easily throw the plane all over the place when it comes to trying and putting a refuel probe in a 1foot diameter basket.

Yeah..I know. At one point used the Logitech 3d and now the Trustmaster fightstick X. Going to Upgrade to Thrustmaster T.16000M. Ariel refueling is next to impossible with my current stick. Sad to see Logitech has not got good joystick products...its still that same old 3D pro, at least an update on that would be good.
Troll Norris Jun 13, 2018 @ 12:09pm
T.16000M FCS is just the new standard of budget joysticks.
Hotas Warthog is also good but its inner parts are plastic and has to be once a time lubed or the inner friction will be higher and higher.

The top products are now just the Virpil and VKB. Those have full-metal mechanism and ball bearings which makes incredibly great flight experience.
