JDAM "Aln rdy"
I startup the A10C, wait 4 mins, Nav, select EGI, but the JDAMs say "Aln rdy" even if I use the TGT to select a point or I create a new markpoint.
Am I doing something wrong?

ALN RDY means align ready. They are ready to drop. If they were still prepping they would show ALN UNS meaning align unsatisfactory (I think but that's how I remember it).

You then simply designate the target and drop in CCRP mode

It's strange because when I can drop them it simply says "RDY", with "Aln RDY" they don't drop.

I only use a Train Simulator, do I need to keep Microsoft FSX on my PC
GBU alignment will degrade after a long period of straight level flight, you need to do a semi-aggressive turn or rock your wings back and forth.

I've had this happen to me before and after doing a turn or rocking the wings the GBU status resolves itself to "RDY"

Had the same thing today. Can confirm rocking wings can help change from ALN RDY to RDY and allow weapon release.

Yep they need a wing shake I have been flying the A10 quite a lot and JADAMs almost always need a shake.
