Any non-DLC aircraft mods?

I'm having trouble finding anything. So I'm guessing this sim doesn't support mods?

It out dated very fast. There are some SFM based community aircrafts in official forum ( FC aircraft re-model ) maybe still flyable.
A-4 is one of high quality community mod ,and has proper research back it.

Not wonky but not nearly as good as even FC3 aircraft.

As a complete freebie though, it isn't bad

It can be done but it’s not easy. When you expect to get paid you can work on it part time or even full time and invest your money into a lot of research and production, such as photography, laser scans, sound recordings, Q&A testing etc. When you’re doing it for free things are a lot more difficult.

I’m not a fan of the A-4 mod but I have a lot of respect for what those guys are trying to do. Give it a try. Also give the Su-25T another look if you don’t have the money for one of the paid modules as it is way more capable than most people think. Despite owning most of the modules I keep coming back to that one.

The only problem I've found is that whenever I try to create a mission, I end up on the F10 map screen and I can't play.

Well that's sort of a big "game breaker" don't you think? Making missions is a major part of this experience.

ya know that VSN is a thing yeah? They make pretty quality mods. all you need is FC3. im pretty sure since summer sales are around the corner i expect FC3 to be extremely cheap. So, not only would OP own the FC3 planes, he'll have a bunch of other planes he could also mess around with.

Non-DLC I would think means free and the A-4E is the only plane module worth downloading if you are not looking to make an investment yet. I introduced the free game plus the A-4E to many friends who now play DCS World. I cannot recommend it enough!

yeah, its a good plane but OP would only be able to play by himself. no multiplayer. atleast with fc3 mods you have a assortment of vanilla planes and a assortment of mods. when you dont want to use mods just remove the aircraft file and thats it. you still have fc3 to play with.

Would be a dream if ED opened the SDK to the A4E guys so that they could make it actually accurate.
