Edit: Warning, once you get the Hornet, you will probably develop DCS addiction and have to buy nearly every module.
Lmao. I'm just worried bout the carrier landing aspect. Landing is gonna be a ♥♥♥♥♥😂😂
P.S. It also has the best/most useful features imo, and has many more features to come!
very underrated
Carrier landings is one of the most satisfying parts of the Hornet (and Tomcat) learning experience :) Just work your way up to it, you don't learn everything in a day!
As for the carrier aspect, it's just like learning any other system. It sounds daunting but once you get the pattern down it's one of the most satisfying things in DCS.
Better still you can train your way up to it using some community mods. Grab the 476th range objects and you can place a field carrier landing practice object on an airfield to practice hitting the landing deck. Grab banklers case 1 mission and you will be graded on your pattern and approach to help you learn where you are going wrong.
The in game training for the Hornet is some of the best I've seen which will also help to get you going.
