Which plane are you using? \ is comms menu by default but some planes you need to use the specific radio buttons.

Looking at the comms binding for 27 right now and it should be "\" by default. Go to your options and see whats under "Communication menu" key.

Hi, this may be an issue with your keyboard.

While the default key is usually shown as \ in the selection try going in and setting it again.

I've found that, while it looks fine if you type it into Notepad or Word. on my keyboard the game actually registers that key press as "OEM102" so it appears there can be something weird with the way some manufacturers set it up.
