DCS World Steam Edition
VR Headtracking/Mouse Cursor...
Is there any way to disconnect the VR headtracking from the mouse cursor in cockpit. It's extremely difficult to hold the mouse steady enough to click when the headtracking keeps moving it around. I really don't want head tracking to do anything with the cursor. If the cursor could remain stationary while headtracking was separate that would be a thousand times better.

Running in the A-10c on an HTC Vive

Isn't something like Disable Mouse already in the options?
Oh, you can disable it, but I also have no desire to have to use the headtracking to select switches. The mouse and headtracking move the cursor, I want no headtracking on the cursor... mouse by itself, headtracking by itself...
Imagine it as if the mouse is an extension of your hand. You really wouldn't tether your hand to your head before using it! It makes function a bit ridiculous!

Ah I understand now. Sorry I don't have VR myself so the issues are sometimes difficult to graps. Thanks for clarifying.
Yes in the VR graphic settings I think, I could be wrong.. but browse the menu, there is an option to unbind the mouse from the head position.
Yeah, no! No options change the cursor being connected to the headtracker.
Hi! i agree with Barnes , there is an option in VR settings to disable head tracking but i think u have to restart the game to apply this config. GL!
Uh, yeah, no there's not... (if you can't replicate this yourself, why are you commenting?)
thanks for your kindness, it's a pleasure to help you!
I have to agree with NefariousFox on this. we need to be able to totally disconnect our head from tracking the mouse cursor. extremely inconvenient
PLZ just open ur eyes in VR game settings or go to ophthalmologist.
Doesn't fix it @#$%^#$%^#$%^&$%^&$%^&$%^&$^%&$%^ ...

Yeah guys, gotta stick with OP here. You ain't reading what he clarified in Post #2. It's really unhelpful if you suggest something I did already in post #1 and it is made clear this is not what the OP wants.

@OP don't insult or you will get action by moderator, keep your cool, restate what you mean, if people keep refusing to read, use report button.

BTW the appropriate place to further this discussion is a new thread here: https://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=438

Since it's not a bug and nothing we can help with, it is a feature request. VR is new tech so there is a chance you might get your wish soon.
"If the cursor could remain stationary while headtracking was separate that would be a thousand times better." +1
