Fastest full useable plane?
So, i have the A-10 which is bloody awesome but fully loaded its realy slow and sluggish.

What is the fastest fighter with full clickable cockpit? F5-E? Mirage?

F-14 will be the fastest fighter ( 2.3 mach )

currently, Mirage is the fastest ( 2.2mach ) followed by Mig 21 and viggen ( 2.ish mach ).

F-18 will be slower ( 1.8mach )

F-5E is quite far behind ( 1.6mach )

so it seems the a-10 is kinda slow? havent flown any other plane so far

A-10 is the slowest plane in DCS, even WW2 fighters are faster than it.

the su-25s are significantrly faster, even fully loaded, and the incoming AV8B harrier will be even faster ( while still subsonic ).

Because SU-25 uses same engines like Mig-21. Only without afterburner. So it is fast but it eats grass on a ground and rainbow in the air. If you won't take any fuel tank for SU-25, your operating range will be quite low.

uff, i just bought the mirage dlc cos i wanted a fast fighter but holy hell this tutorial. I just want to fly and he is brabbling about radio and location coordinates in the startup tutorial for like 20 minutes now and i cant follow of anything he says. I just quit the tutorial and now i am here again :P

If you want to speed things up look up some recent vid tutorials on YT, its a pretty easy plane to operate imo.

yes i was surpised, its basicaly just 3 levers and one button to make it flyable. And holy hell its fast and the sound it makes! :D

the current FM of the m-2000 is still not accurate.

an update should be coming in the next weeks ( since early august : / )

about speed, it currently accelerates too fast above mach 1, while it bleeds too much energy at slow speed and can hardly regain it.

with the current FM, the m-2000 can t dogfight under 350knots, it should be greatly improved.
