Xbox 360 Controller

Has anyone gotten their Xbo360 controller working properly with this game? If so can you explain how.

I tried to map the buttons manually, but the game just refuses to work right with it. (The left stick is camera movement, when it should be the right stick, and the other buttons don't work at all.)

sorry its not made for big picture mode because half-life 1 isn't made in big picture mode so i don't think you can use a controler. but if you find a way tell me cause id love to play half-life 1 with a controler

Yeah, but this game says it supports a joystick within the interface of the game itself. So I enabled it. It does recognize the controller, but the configuration is all messed up. I tried manually editing it in the config.cfg file but it didn't make any difference. Was really enjoying the game but I can't play with KB & Mouse. There has to be a way to get the controller working right.
