LAN Server

Hi.
I want to play co-op with my friend on LAN, but nothing seems to work. Any help at all will be appreciated.

Also, I really don't want to use Hamachi...

First of all, is he in your network? If not then you can't do a LAN. I need to know more so I can help.

Yes, he is in my network. Sorry if I didn't give you enough information

Did you try the ~ Sv_lan 0 followed by the "Connect (your ip adress) thing?

Yeah, we did. Still no luck.

ahhh, well i'm currently using hamachi which works really well but the only way i've ever got it to work without hamachi is to simply have the host and the joining person put in Sv_lan 0 and then use the Shift+Tab Join game through friends.

We tried that again, it worked.... kinda. When we go to the next area, he gets an error saying Reliable Server Flow (or something like that) and gets disconnected.
