Saw runner too fast?

I got cry of fear and im stuck at the sawrunner secound enocunter he is too fast why did they patch him faster in the steam version? now its impossible to escape because all the "stragedys" involve doing things witch dont work on the steam version i hate the devlopers for breaking the game i only got past the first becuase i retreated into the previous area and thats all so thank you devs for ruining the game thank you!

You don't even need to sprint to escape from him, just avoid it by walking normally.
He's not faster btw, it's just that if you use all the sprint bar, you get slower.

actualy i do walk away i tried it i got killeed in under 5 secounds

Not sure if this will help but sawrunner has some voice lines to indicate his attack.When he does these,move to the left or right while moving backwards.If your not feeling confident when moving then try a normal dodge.When you feel like your near the end then turn around and sprint the rest of the way.By the way, im not sure how to exactly describe the voice lines as its easily confused with his generic screams when chasing you.

you mean the scream that happens when you have less than 3 secounds to move im not super reflexs

Just Walk. Hes attack takes too long to perform and can't catch you. I know since i have beaten the game a sevearal times, before AND after steam release.

completly contradicts my experince are you using the steam version? maybe its my computer are something on mine his attacks take 2 secounds its like this stab with the chainsaw that instantkills me

I never had a problem with him with either version. Just that it gives me a minor heart attack.

You can't press a button in 3 Seconds? Ouch. Anyway, he's faster then you, but he has to stop to attack. so he won't be able to hit you if you're just walking, not sprinting. The only one you should have trouble with is the forest encounter, and that's only if you don't lose his L.O.S.
