First of all there shouldn't be any 9 year olds on steam in the first place, you have to be 13 to make an account according to the ToS.

Secondly, the first thing the game states is "This game contains violence and gore, and can cause fear, depression, heart failure and suicide. Users and viewers discretion is advised." You can't get much more straightforward with a warning then that.

Thirdly, if you got to the part with the "secret notes" then you must have gone through murderers room with the pictures of all his victims on the walls.

Many of us would like horror games to actually have realistic themes instead of being chased around in an empty building by a suited man with long arms (and according to your belifs you shouldn't play that either, because isn't slenderman notorious for kidnapping and murdering children?)

I never said anything about violence and so far i haven't noticed any partricularly terrible bugs that would ruin the game and anyway the biggest bug knocking about steam at the moment is the ladders in source engine the most used engine other than unreal on steam made by valve themselves

are you trying to tell me you have never lied about your age and have you seen the state of games these day with a game like cod aged 18, 9 yr olds are playing it but since there isn't anything really higher than 18 9yr olds playing cod might think they can play this

Also, based on your logic an age restriction would be completely useless.. Since according to your logic everyone that isn't old enough to actually play these games lies about their age, then what would it matter when they could just falsify more information to get past the age restriction?

Based on your fragmented sentence structure I don't think you're much over the age of 13 yourself, and the game probably just made you come to a hard realization that there are grown men in this world that prey on little children.
