yeah it sounds cool but looks like no one even knows how to use hammer and sdk of cry of fear like i couldnt find any info about simple thing like "save stuff when level changes"

OMG yesss !!! This game is incredible, it absolutely needs sequels!

no not really,

simons story (depending on the ending you get) concludes with him suiciding or having some psychosis where he shoots 2 cops ends up in a mental hospital and is trying to recover and move on

cry of fear 2 would have to enforce that ending and have him somehow go back to being mental ill despite that entire ending is overcoming the negitive emotion and trying to start a new chapter in his life

and if we were to make it a different charecter then it would make the sequel game redundant. the entire premis of the game is psychological horror based on the fact you have no idea whats going on in the first place. and while you could still just get away with gameplay being fun with new enemies etc mods alone could cover that

cry of fear leaves its ending in a good state regardless of what ending you get giving a narrative of what mental illness can be like to people. a sequel cant really add to that

Even thought that most likely wasn't the developers intention, you have to admit they pulled the "it's a zombie apocalypse" trick at the beginning quite well. It isn't until about halfway of the game after you can conclude the world isn't real and it's all in Simon's head

I think a group of people should come together like crowbar collective who made the half life 1 remake black mesa should do the same with cry of fear. Not sure why it hasn't happened yet, probably because CoF isn't as popular

I remember reading that the devs attempted to do a sequel or a remake or something but just didn't work out.
