Sawer Boss needs a serious change.

Just tried beating the Sawer boss. This boss battle sucks. The room is way too small. And it takes to many bullets to stop this SOB just so you can get around behined him to shoot him in the back. And I'm playing this on Easy. At least make the games first boss something you can kill with a pistol.

You really shouldn't have any problem on easy, don't blame the game. I had to finish him off with the knife since I ran out of bullets, on HARD.

Theres no way to say this without sounding like a ♥♥♥♥, but he isn't a very hard boss at all. The room is plenty big enough to fight him in. Either stab him and dodge backwards or just run around in circles and hit him when you get the chance. You can take him on with just the knife without any difficulty. Keep in mind that Simon's greatest advantage is his speed; you can always hit him at least once before he swings his saw at you. If you want to make the fight quick, dual wield the Glock + Knife, stab him until he falls and then unload as many shots as you can in his backside for a lot of damage.

at OP: walk (not run) in circles, usually, he can't hit you that way and if he gets too close, dodge (double-tap dodge FTW).
you should have a few clips for the glock while you've walked down the sick apartments, so you have 2 options: while walking in circles, have him at the center of the screen all the time (strafe) and tap dat mousebutton while holding the knife. 1 of 3 knife swings will hit him. do that until he's on his knees and stab him in the back, where his weakspot is.

option 2: lure him to one side of the map, run to the other side, turn aorund and give him a good taste of your glock until he's getting on his knees (should take like 4-5 hits on easy), equip the knife and stab him in the back.

he's not very fast, keep that always in mind.

I kinda agree... But I also think he`s not that hard. Until you have him at a good moment and he gets back up or you have to reload! >.<

It's not really hard to beat him unless you keep wasting your bullets & go rambo about it, or you're just too lousy to beat it.

My tactics would be that I go close to it, then I dodge back. He tries to attack, but obviously miss so I get a free target to shoot. When he back up, switch to Knife and drain it's health. But I don't understand why do Sawer take so many hits on Nightmare mode with the David Leatherhoff's Axe.

First you sould shot on his head, when he kneel you take your knife and smash it in the eye on his back.

I just fought the guy the other day and I died the first few times, but only because I didn't know the pattern. You just have to shoot him a few (like 7-12 times I guess) and he kneels over, then switch to your knife and hack away at the eye. I don't remember what difficulty I'm on, so I'm assuming I'm on normal.

no need to shot him at all but if you really want to shot you can just hit him with a knife and dodge and when he get down just shot his back, way faster.

You can beat this guy with the knife on nightmare with out a problem. Try harder.

I havent been able to beat him in like, what? 3 month`s? Guess I went rambo. >.< Also isn't sawer the first jumpscare at the beginning? the one with the lighting? (When the lightning flashes the sawer is standing right there for 1 second.) I think only I noticed this.
