Costume Issues?
I don't know if anyone else has this problem but at one point in the sewers/ train area I found a note entitled "How To Use Unlocks" but it doesn't show up in my files or seemingly anywhere else in the game menus. I've picked up like 2 different hoodies I believe but they don't show up in any menus and my unlocks section is still blank. If someone can, please screenshot the note so I can see or tell me what it says or give an explanation yourself on how you put on the hoodies or use/ get these "Unlocks." I'm still going through my first time in the game right now so I'm really not too concerned on changing my costumes immediately so take your time on a response, but it would be nice to know for future use or when I go to start messing with the co op mode and want to personalize my player. Thanks!

Add me if you'd like to do some co op some time! Lookin for some CoF friends.

You need to actually finish the game in order for stuff you unlocked to show up under the Unlockables section of the main menu. The pages you find are viewable there and they offer hints as to how to unlock other secrets.

Things like unlocked weapons and items, as well as alternate costumes are available in two secret rooms you can access any time you play the game again after you beat it the first time. In the hallway where Simon sees someone go around a corner, right before you reach the padlocked door, a wooden door on your left will now be unlocked. Unlocked weapons are in this room, as well as a closet that lets you change Simons appearance. Theres also a painting on the wall, use this if you feel like having a heart attack.

Unlocked costumes aren't used in Co-op, in Co-op you play as various police officers; it's not the same game as the singleplayer campaign, but rather exclusively Co-op campaigns designed for multiple players. I will warn you right now that there are almost no players online these days so it's best to try and find some friends to start a private game with.

Ah ok. Thank you. Yeah I've been trying to play online with my gf but it's ridiculously difficult to set up a room. Using the CoF servers never actually works. My servers I create never even show up. Have to use an outside program. Thanks for all the tips. Btw do you know the code to input to get your backpac back in the game? I didn't see it in the train when it was falling and I'm towards the end of the mental hospital at this point and it's getting really difficult to play since I couldn't find my back pack and only have 3 slots to use. I need some way to get my backpack back cause it's a pain having to drop stuff I need to pick up temp stuff like keys and that. Plus I can only have one weapon at a time and had to leave the new shotgun behind.
I don't know of any way for you to get the backpack back, but I'm 99% certain limiting your inventory is intentional at that part.

So you lost the backpack too? I don't know I just find it odd because he said 'I gotta get my backpack!" and than you run into a bunch of stuff with nearly no room to hold stuff. I mean at the assylum they offer the pistol and shotgun again alone with morphine you need and than you have to go pick up the continued puzzle pieces, not to mention needing a light the whole time. I find myself constantly having to either drop my light or morphine just to pick up keys/ puzzle pieces and then running all the way back to pick the stuff up again. So I feel like him saying that earlier meant you needed to find the backpack while climbing up.
