Save collection (READ FIRST!)

DO NOT REDISTRIBUTE THIS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. IF YOU NEED TO SEND THIS TO SOMEONE, SEND THEM THIS DISCUSSION THREAD. ALSO, DON'T BE A WUSSY! PLAY THROUGH THE GAME FIRST INSTEAD OF CHEATING WITH THESE! I ONLY MADE THIS FOR RECOVERY REASONS!

Moderators: If you have an issue with this post, send me a friend invite and we can figure something out. If it ever happens, I'd rather be notified or messaged than being surprised if deletion is the only solution.

This pack contains saves of Cry of Fear from the beginning to the end in case anyone lost their saves, or if you suck at managing saves. By default I played through with the worst ending possible. If you want to alter this, you'll have to play from Gustav-Dahl Park. The difficulty is also set to hard, so be prepared.

Most of the saves for the fuse backtracking don't exist except for the Roped-Off Apartment plus a few others, considering it wasn't necessary to add those.

THINGS TO FIX. DO NOT BUG ME ABOUT THESE!

* Start with more health in the post-doctor asylum save.
* More ammo and whatnot for the bad ending.

Now if you're sure you are going to follow my rules, here is the download.

INSTALLATION:

.sav files go in "Steam\SteamApps\common\Cry of Fear\SAVE". The saveinfo.cof files go in "Steam\SteamApps\common\Cry of Fear\cryoffear\SAVE"

Both file types are needed. They'll have the same name as the save you want to use. Just rename them to not have parenthesis. So cofsave2 (Asylum).sav should be renamed to cofsave2.sav, same with saveinfo2 (Asylum).cof being renamed to saveinfo2.cof.

hey man, thx for it where is the folder who copy the files in it? i used the "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Cry of Fear\SAVE" folder, but the game dont detect the saves.

.sav files go in there. The saveinfo.cof files go in "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Cry of Fear\cryoffear\SAVE"

Both file types are needed since it needs a name to detect it. Sorry about the late reply. I edited the description for more detail into this.

Hello,

For some reason, in chapter 4 with the fuse, I cannot get it to go into the slot or use it. I am not sure if it is a bug or I did the save files incorrectly, but I can't go on.

more specifically, which save from this collection did you use? there's quite a bit of backtracking ones i made

It was cofsave3 (Saxon Avenue revisit (got fuse).sav. It is the one before the Roped-off Apartment, same with the saveinfo.

okay so i used that and you're right, there's no fuse in my inventory, i'm gonna revert and make a new save so that there's an actual fuse in the inventory

okay so i used that and you're right, there's no fuse in my inventory, i'm gonna revert and make a new save so that there's an actual fuse in the inventory

Thanks! I appreciate the work you're doing. I had to reformat my PC so I lost the save files and this is a big help.
