Lol, it got debunked. Look on his TikTok where you can get the necessary parts of the story or better worded, his side of it all. Don't worry about people like this if you're a huge fan of Cry of Fear, others will always try to bring people down, no matter what. Don't let them kill your ambition and/or love for this game! It's great! (I'm looking at you, OP.). For people that are lazy/don't have TikTok:

Doesn't matter what state you're in, there's no excuse for doing bad things. Each and every one of us are accountable for our actions, regardless of the circumstances or whatever motives we might have. That's accountability, which should always be enforced. Just look at Russia, China, Iran, North Korea and USA on what happens when you don't demand accountability.

If ruMpel is guilty, he should be held accountable. If he's innocent then there's nothing he or anyone else has to worry about. If we don't enforce accountability, then every action, including murder and genocide, can be argued against using your logic. I think anyone with an intact moral compass understands that it is not ideal.

Are you seriously comparing a guy who killed millions to a guy who did one mistake in his life when he was at his lowest point in life? Im actually speechless. If you ever do something bad, i hope people treat you, like you treat the dev of CoF.

I remember joining his discord server before the mp5 update and i got kicked for maybe suggesting that rumpel shouldn't try to overdose on pills and be hospitalized,
pretty sure the guy is unstable and completely out of his mind.
