Nightmare advice

I just got the axe and the mp5 from my first 2 runs any tips on how i should go about my first nightmare run like where should i prioritize my saves or any tips to deal with harder parts of the game

I used my first save after Carcass, right before you encounter the guys with guns for the first time. They can instantly kill you with a headshot so trying to risk going any further without a save is basically asking to start over. Another good spot to save should be before you get on the train to leave since there's gonna be a lot of enemies to deal with, and the platforming section immediately after is kinda glitchy. The other three saves are up to you, but I'd suggest using one before fighting the Doctor, mostly due to the guys who flank you from the side, since they'll mess you up even quicker than usual due to your lower max health at this point.
