looking for the code to the padlock

I just started this game, so I am at chapter 1. The objective is to find the code to the padlock. However, I have the faintest clue if it is an item that I need o collect or is it a code that is printed somewhere? If it is printed, then how do I enter it?

If you look around the area, you will find two papers with something written on them. You don't necessarily need to memorize what it says on them, as they will be stored in your inventory. In that same area, you can enter a building where you will find a computer. Just interact with it and you will find out what you need to do next.
