BLACK SCREEN FIX!!!

To anyone that has a black screen while launching the game (after the cry of fear loading screen) i will put all of the methods i know which you can use to fix this issue.

-First and easiest thing to do is to remove internet connection( you can reconnect in after the game launches). * worked for me

-disable any vpn services, antivirus or firewall you have active.

-go into the files of the game, find cof.exe and coflaunchapp.exe, right click and go to properties, go to compatability and see which one of these work (windows 7,8, xp service pack 3).

-lastly the is this .exe file which also could fix your issue so give it a try:

Those are all the methods which i know work. In case non of these work you can try to reinstall or look up on the internet for more solutions.
