doors wont open, pls help :(

idk if this is a probelm with my own computer or the game itself but literally no doors will open for me. Maybe theres some sort of key i have to get but idk!!!11! ive replayed the first level a million times, but the moment i get to "lost in a city" no doors wont open, i mean NONE, not the one that needs a code, NONE of them, pls help T.T

you either somehow have interact button set to something else or your E key doesn't work...
