Playing on steam deck? I only see a black screen! what do I do?

I only see a black screen but I can still interact with the game and even start the game. I can only see anything when the game is loading in and seeing the beginning credits. But I see nothing after that. I have the game on my steam deck, that steam deck is in desktop mode, I am connected to a normal docking station I got of amazon that works with all my other games.
