Cry of Fear Textures
Does anyone know how the Cry of Fear textures were created? Were they photos scaled down, handmade, or sampled from somewhere?

I may not be certain, but seeing the overall artstyle, I believe the textures were made using real photos. Hell, some textures are clearly photos (like the mouths in some enemies for example). Some of them may be handpainted, but I think 90% of them are made using photos

a lot of the textures are downscaled real life images and the world takes place in a real location being confirmed by developer commentaries
