Out of ammo, lost my melee, and completely lost!

Hey, so I really like this game, but I'm a bit screwed right now. I'm at the part where you have to find the two fuses to follow the doctor. Uhh... I have 4 major problems.

1. I'm out of ammo, can't defend myself especially against the big kamakaze maggots
2. I don't have my melee weapon anymore. I ditched it for a gun and couldn't get it back cause zombies attacked
3. I don't know where to go to find the new fuse
4. I'm gussing I have to go back to where I put the first fuse in Saxxon or whatever, but I don't know where I'm going. I'm completely lost.

Am I supremely, royally, and terribly screwed?

HELP

P.S. any general tips are greatly appreciated. This is my first survival horror game, so... I might have made some poor decisions

My only suggestion would be go to an earlier save file.

well 1 thing about cry of fear is the fact that there are hidden places that u could have missed that has ammo for guns like the M16 u can get that gun earlier in the game but to get it is very risky but since u need 2 fuses to follow the doctor try going to the new path u can find the M16 in the bus which will give u ammo back plus since u are going to get the 2 fuses every place in the game u explored will be open so u are practically done on resources until u get past that door which will have 4 suicide monsters so u can get 4 clips of glock ammo back but try to go for the head to make ammo consumption at minimal i have played through this game on easy and i salvaged so much ammo and syringes myself i didnt think i even had to use a gun at all but of course i would but also if u dont like playing in the dark turn screen blur off it will brighten practically everything but if u dont then thats fine and i beaten the game in 1:46:27 which is actually 34 minutes more than the world record time of the game which ws 1:12:xx but i hope this helps u continue

also if it makes u feel any better try going for ending 4 then do ending 5 and search up the code to unlock the door with the axe that weapon is an unlockable that u can use and it is op as hell im talking 1 hit on every monster from easy to hard not nightmare though it takes 2 hits

What did you do! :) Anyways you shoul look up cheats on youtube on where you find the new fuses thats whaat i do on some games is cheat if your not a cheat person like me than you should probley go bback to the last save and try again.

Start over. You don't need to kill all enemies, you can avoid them and progress on. I'd also recommend using a walkthrough if you don't understand the game.

UGH how long will that take?

So, turns out, I wasn't quite out of ammo, and I managed to survive until the giant head attack thing. NOW I have 6 bullets in my glock, got a new melee which is good, but can't win for the life of me. Is there any way I can beat it?

oh man....i got stuck at that very same part of different reasons. i ended up reloading an earlier save, thats a pretty gruelling part of the game. when you get stuck in the room with giant head and all thats when you get the 2nd fuse, hopefully thats where you are.

I used a ladder from the flooded basement(swim above the pile of trash and crouch while doing so) then placed it down, got the M16 and used it. If thats not an option, then you're stuck doing what I am right now(because I want a gun with ammo) looking for wherever the VP90 was left.

For me its stuck at harbor college and I have no idea how to get there, and have been trying for days.

ik this is old but i keep struggling with finding ammo for the glock & m16 i got no clue on what to do
