What happened to Source Remake?
Is it cancelled? if so, will it ever be returned into making Source remake again?

Hopefully he didn't gave up on the project and continues on Unreal, this game is too good.

from what ive heard the remake was going to happen a little while ago but got canceled but im not sure

When is the CoF Remake/Source coming out?
- Both UE4 and Source remakes are cancelled indefinitely. The manpower needed to work on these projects require a group of professionals in the industry to try to make it an proper remake. Currently that is not possible at this time.

Andreas already confirmed that it is cancelled for good, although the good news is that we will have a new game.

New game? I've never heard of this (new game)

It was discontinued as they are working on other projects, some have said he is working on a completely different game.

As for myself? I think he wanted to focus on his band.

Using source was very costly, assets etc are not cheap and they lack the funds, hence why they decided to move over to UE4, but as of recent they are not working on the remake.

I hope they will in the future, would be sick and refreshing.
