Softlocked for the Attic Code in the Mental Asylum Chapter 6

Hi, so this is my first time playing Cry Of Fear and I'm stuck after when there's someone across the window with the codes to the attic. When I go for the telescope, it seems this bug appears to happen for me is that the camera turns slanted and makes it impossible to use the telescope, by the time I exit the telescope trying to retrieve the code from looking out of the window the person dissapears, I can't do much even after loading a previous save file the thing happens again. All I have to do is just enter the Attic Keypad which I don't know or I can ask for since it is randomised for everyone.

When you use the telescope again a message will pop-up revealing the code, and Simon will say he has no reason to look through it again.

You're welcome! I found this out by accident tbh. I was doing S-rank back in 2015 and I remember saving before the Doctor, and I left it for a few weeks and came back and realised I forgot the code! At least the devs thought ahead. Not sure about this bug though, seen a few posts about it lately not sure what's up with that

Same exact thing happened to me. However no such pop up occurs for me upon re examining

It seems they updated it the window code is now in the journal instead

i looked at the code across the window and thought i had it right but i went to enter it in and it was wrong, checked my notebook and there's no code there, tried the telescope but simon just looks across and there's nobody in the window now. anything i can do?

Same problem here, i cant get the code again, well, at least im not the only one, i think the smartest thing we can do is to find a save file from that poin on internet.
