Font?

I was wondering if somebody could help me replicate the Title font of this game. I really like that sort of fading, shimmering style, but alas, I'm a talentless hack. Any suggestions?

You probably can't find the exact font, but I found this on dafont.com, if you look long enough you could find one that more closely resembles the Cry Of Fear font:

If you want to recreate the font then you can use Arial or a similar looking font, put down multiple text boxes in the same position and seperate the letters bit by bit to give it that fade effect

But if you're using it for commercial purposes ask permission from the developer if you're allowed to use the recreated font for commercial use

So I found out how to do it. I used Photoshop
Make one text layer using Arial Regular
Go to Filter > Blur Gallery > Path Blur
Speed should be around 50-100%
Duplicate more layers if you want more blur and change the percents.
Duplicate one more, put it on top and disable filters.

Thanks a lot everyone! I don't have Photoshop but maybe I can reproduce similar results in GIMP, or something. I really appreciate all the advice here, if I manage to do anything presentable with it, I'll post it here.

If you want to use the actual title image itself you can save it from the chroma'd banner below on the map page:
