Expanded Inventory Mod?

Is there one? This game is SO tedious with the inventory limitations.

Actually, its one of the main features of the game, you should get use to it. The fact that you have to abandon primordial items like guns or syringes makes it one of the most demanding survival horrors ever, and thats pretty great considering the word "survival".

Sometimes you can backtrack to grab some items you left behind, but that means that maybe you have to face some monster you didn't killed. Other times, you are just gonna lose some of them forever...

id have to disagree. if it was true hardcore survival thing then i would agree but in my opinion it really isnt since they give you such a big arsenal of firearms, the limited inventory space can be annoying. because of that most of people just stick with glock only cause its reliable and has lot of ammo so they can have free inventory space for key items and dont have to keep dropping other items and returning back for them later. but using only glock also makes the game much more boring.
people say stuff like "inventory management is survival aspect" but in reality you can beat the game with that glock on hardest difficulty and never run out of ammo and its not really much harder than with any other gun. thats what i meant by saying "to be able to play the game a little more freely" so you could have fun with more guns.
