Tips on Getting Past the Second Boss, "Mace"

[Seize the Night]

"Mace" is the second boss in the game, called by this name because of the large mace weapon that he wields. This is an easy boss to defeat compared to the first boss that wields the chainsaw. Note that I defeated this boss yesterday playing on "Normal" difficulty.

1. This boss is slow, so he is easy to avoid. There will even be times when he freezes in his tracks, as if he's trying to smell your location. The boss may be blind due to the bandages wrapped around his face which would explain why he's trying to sniff you out when you're not moving. You will make noise when you move since most of the room is partially flooded with water.
2. This boss is impervious to weapon damage, so it's not even worth your time to try and use weapons against him.
3. The only way to kill the boss is through electrocution.
4. In each of the four corners of the room, there is a wheel. If you turn it about six times, a generator will activate. You will receive a warning message stating that you have to get out of the standing water before the electric charge is dispersed. Sprint to the crucified, headless corpse and jump onto the platform to avoid the shock. There are also stairs going up the front of the platform (not the sides) which you can use, but I felt better making the jump since, sometimes, the charge would disperse while I was in midair.
5. If you're standing in the water when the charge is dispersed, you will die.
6. If Mace hits you with his weapon, you will die.
7. When you';re turning the wheels, try to keep an eye on where the boss is. If you have your back turned towards him, it's easy for him to kill you from behind.
8. While turning the wheel, you may get hung up for a second during the process of turning it. This can be deadly if the boss is almost on top of you.
9. On normal difficulty, I had to use three of the generators to kill the boss.

Yeah I just run to the side of the room opposite one of the turning wheels, then once hes close, quickly run past him and over to one of the wheels and if ya did it right you should have enough time to turn it all the way, electrocute him, while you hopefully jumped onto the platform with the decapitated man nailed to the cross, so you don't get electrocuted.

You can climb on top of the wheels instead of running to the platform, if you really want to anyways

(first time player) Do i have to do it all in one go?? I've been trying to turn one of the valves for like 5 minutes but it doesn't work on easy mode T_T I'm just terrified to die because i can't save my progress in the game so if i die i have to do it all the way from rhe beginning..

just doing nightmare mode and i did all 4 corners but on the first valve the boss decided to be an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥ and climb on the platform, so now i have to go kill sawer again for the 3rd time is there anyway to kill him without it?
