This game is underrated
THIS game should be one of the most popular pychological horror games on steam, not doki doki literture club. (not that i hate ddlc)

Yeah the game is underated probably because ggmanlives who’s got like a couple million followers he did a review on Cry Of fear and overall he said it was terrible but even his followers lots of them said he was nuts for the review saying it wasn’t a bad game

omg i f#cking hate that guy, i saw the video and hes honestly one of the dumbest 'critics' ever. most of the ♥♥♥♥ he gives the game is simply because he sucks at it and not because the game was bad.

The gunplay is supposed to have lots of recoil to add to the fact that it is NOT an action game and is a survival horror. You dont play a badass how goes around and shoots everything doing flips and ♥♥♥♥. And i agree, hes giving the game ♥♥♥♥ because hes bad at the game.

Well the review just above your comment is better he says it’s not the best game but he does say it’s very good to be running on basically a 20 year engine

Eh. The game is great, but you can tell it’s low budget. They expect you to conserve ammo, but using the knife will always get you hit. A good game, but that’s about it

Bro your talking about a game that was made by a team smaller than 10 people even smaller than like 8 people there’s only like 5 or 6 guys/girls in the credits

Which is why I still say it’s good. Nothing amazing but still good.

Yes, it’s good for what it is. Although I have been spoiled a bit by single developer games that turned out amazing

What a kook, there is supposed to be recoil, Simon isn't military or police. He is just a regular dude, and a metal head from what I hear. He also seems to have limited firearm experience. So. It is underrated, and frankly a true remake, or pre/sequel needs made. I would buy it day one.

Which is why I still say it’s good. Nothing amazing but still good.

Dude, it is a free game, running on Half-life's old, not so great Engine. Of course it feels lacking. They didn't get paid for any of their games.

technically they did get paid, by donators. but they got paid very little
