VHS not working

I'm at the apartments, got the VHS tape but when I try and use it on any tv it just makes the "can't use/no item to use on" sound. Is this a bug?

are you standing directly infront of the tv and does the tv have a VHS player? maybe you're not at the right tv. can you take a screenshot?

Is there a particular tv? There's two that I know about, 3rd and 4th floor.

i couldve sworn it was on the second floor. check there and make sure it has a VHS player.

You need to find the tape-player. It's a bother, i know but you'll probably have to look up where it is. It's somewhere on floor 2 i think
