We need a server provider tho but since this game has been terminated and there is no new content , they mostly wont host a server for this game.
Sad as it is , I gave up long ago asking for PS ;-;
I still hope for game return.
There won't be any private servers, because its violation of copyrights and WB/Aeria/Inplay will never let it happen.
Only ppl who able to do mods can add stuff from FO into some L4D2 or Skyrim.
I didn't like the game but that doesn't give me the moral high ground to claim that others shouldn't. Some people enjoy playing golf. I find it quite boring. Do I get the right to tell golfers they should be ashamed?
There's nothing here that would make a private server / emu project impossible, but there's also not anyone with the correct skill set and time available to work on the project that I'm aware of. If someone decides to make a serious attempt at starting a private server / emu coding project for this game, I'll definitely market it to my group of game preservationists and offer whatever I can.
Gaming is part of our culture and even the worst of games should be preserved in whatever capacity there is to preserve them, whether it be like this game (client-side files, patches, lots of videos and screenshots, and some written articles) OR like the Asheron's Call, Star Wars Galaxies, FEAR Combat, and other communities that have managed to return games to a playable state in modern times.
