Tried the Demo and first thoughts

I'll start off by saying good job so far with what you have done by yourself!

And with that said I'll give my thoughts on it.

1. Calling it the Dinosaur Era, the Primeval Era etc is little uninspired since you just look up the actual name of those Eras

2. It's immersion breaking to have different creatures from different Eras mix with the Era of the environment Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops were very much not coastal creatures.
3. The AI is WAAAY to aggressive, once you have something aggro-ed it will not stop chasing you till you are dead

4. You are the only thing the AI will attack and this is not great, we have various wile life literally clipping through each other with out so much a glance but your ass is grass if get within 2 ft of them.

5. Taming is both too easy and not descriptive enough, you toss some meat at a wild animal and boom all of a sudden it will let you hop onto its back? At the same time if a animal does not like the meat you throw at it, it decides that you must die for the insult to it's honour.

6. Combat and moment is poor, there is no weight to your attacks and having super man jump 6 ft forward or back is some kind of odd. Combine that with low level HP bar and damage display and it's pretty basic

7. Harvesting animations need work, smashing a rock into a dino and a bullet whole opens up in it and you get some meat, grabbing fist full of stones and they crumble to gravel and a perfectly cubed stone black appears in your non-existent bag

8. When riding having the perfectly shaven and bald hunch over character model doesn't look good, I'd say just keep it first person

There might be more but I don't really feel like continuing to play in order to post more opinion points.

It's very good for a solo dev for this kind of project if full release was about 5$ to 10$ Cad I'd consider picking it up but this is a rough and very janky game and with how ambitious you are with trying to incorporate things like NPC's and base building, sieges and space flight I don't think this game is REALLY be done for a good long while yet.

Hi, thanks for your feedback, but many of these are intended as is - so if you didn't enjoy the demo, it's probably not really the game for you.
The game will be $18 on release, which is already a significant general discount over the real value of it.

Not much else to say other then good luck with the game, and I mean than genuinely!

It's janky, but the good kind of jank that people enjoy so I don't think it will do poorly.
