Thanks for the suggestions. I'm currently considering how I might be able to expand on this game and in what format. Thanks!
bugs/easy fixes
1) the dyson ring/sphere tree does not unlock the 3 ring tech until all the rings finish and both techs unlock at the same time
2) the dyson sphere completing stages never increases the amount of power in the hub, maybe you should get like 5k at first 10k when you finish 3...etc
3) the dyson sphere being completed should be a pre-requisite to unlocking the spaceship tech
4) tanks go flying when you hit them, are they missing a weight property to hold them in place in physics engine or something like that?
5) there is a strange bug in the primitive era map near a few mountains where you can crash out if you are flying around like a maniac with the glider, i have been able to replicate it a few times. Good news is when you restart the game you still have all the stuff in your inventory so you don't lose any time really.
ideas for updates
1) improve tank steering responsive and improve the map to add a few more interesting tactical scenarios
2) Mech combat feels a little clunky, one idea: add a MG/sword combo you can flip with MMB and then left click is shoot/swing and right click is reload/block. The map here could also be improved, you can just run around the first whole set of mechs.
3) China Boss fight feels a bit too long
4) A shield or sword block would be nice as right now spamming arrows is best way to fight the medieval soldiers
5) Colonial Era - add blacksmith, fletcher, barracks and lets MOBAish fight that other city! The boss of the other city has something we need to upgrade the Time Travel device to enforce this as a prereq.
6) Primitive Era - same sort of thing but simpler, let us tame some groups of cavemen with dino meat to fight a large caveman group that is constantly scouting for your shelter and trying to destroy it, maybe the boss caveman has the shiny doodad you need to upgrade the time travel device with the bones
7) We need a boss fight in the industrial era with the pistol
8) Egypt is really cool, maybe expanding this era with papyrus/paper/library to create knowledge for the museum or something like that?
9) randomize the resource nodes in the industrial era and Moon
10) randomize the locations of the keys in the museum
11) add some underground caverns with something to fight with the pistol in the ice age underground
absolutely love this game! i think it is great and would love to see you build and expand on this amazing foundation you have built! I'm constantly thinking of trying to do a speedrun of this and the best ways to do things/get through the obstacles. kudos 1000 times!
