The dev just released a similar looking game a couple of months ago.
How can he deliver a new game of this scope in so little time? (yes, I understand that they are using a lot of store-bought assets)
Is this just a reskin of the last game for a quick cash grab?
Their last 2 games have a 'Mixed' review rating.
Only I'm looking at how things are moving in the gameplay trailer and things just aren't moving right.
Lack of polish maybe?
If something sounds too good to be true it usually is.
All the negative reviews just played for like 30 minutes and review bombed for some dumb reason. It's almost as if everyone bought in with the intention to try for 30 minutes and refund...
Or they found they didnt like it within that time. It doesnt take me long to figure out a game is not for me. Im not going to spend hours on it and torture myself through a game thats not too great. Play time has nothing to do with impressions. Most of the reviews state bad performance and mechanics.
Test the game for yourself. Play the demo if the developer has a demo up that stays up permanently and lasts for an hour or two, depending on how the developer wants to do it, so you don't get the full game experience, but you get the experience to test it and see if you like it.
Or buy the game, try it, and time yourself for 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you don't like it by then, refund it and leave your feedback on what you liked or hated.
However, the demo should match the full game, as I've seen some game developers who don't give a proper demo. It's just, "Oh, look, a weapon," grab it, shoot it, and demo over.
Don't bother trying to give this dev advice, it gets thrown back into your face.
It's not going to sell. But look on the bright-side, at least you didn't invest much time into making this game.

There are some issues don't get me wrong, but a single person is building it.
Uploaded a video of the first 40ish minutes. If there are questions please let me know, and I will do what i can to answer them.

I also go by previous works by a dev which I own one. Some minecraft clone but all of them have a trending complaint. Being a solo developer is really no excuse today. He or she tends to have great ideas but then just abandons a game to push another out that suffers from the same issues as the previous. Just lack of commitment
But no developer came to any of my reviews and said this, so I'm guessing my opinion wouldn't be different on those games if I'd have played more.
