I wanna cry

I really want to like this game, but the difficulty comes from all the wrong reasons.

Essentially, the physics of this game are QWOP meets the "dysfunctional hand" from Jurassic Park Trespasser, with a healthy dose of Getting Over It. The wacky physics are compounded by the complete lack of spacial awareness within the game itself, and a weirdly hit-and-miss nature of whether or not the hand will actually latch onto holds.

Finally, when you add things like birds chasing you up a mountain to peck your hands off holds, or other holds pulling off walls with no obvious telltale signs, and -to me- this lands in the category of "difficult for the sake of difficult" as opposed to "tough but fair".

10/10, game is awesome, controls are pretty good, ambience is great, feels awesome to go up a peak all the way. But I would not recommend it if you want to keep your sanity.

This game is genuinely hard, and it's a good thing, I just think the difficulty spike goes way too high, way too fast.

I'll say it though, the fact you can only save at one spot with the bivouac feels awful. I got stuck for 15 hours straight going up and down and up and down and up and down a part of the last mountain without the ability to save which meant only two possibilities : Losing pretty much 20 hours of progress, or keeping my computer on which was a hard pick, not going to lie.

Made me motion sick, please consider before buying, seems good otherwise.

I used to think that mountaineers are clinicaly depressed people too scared to admit what they really want to do with themselves. Now I know it for certain.

Not a game for everyone, was not a game for me but i can definitely see people liking the game.

Very good game, don't buy.

Its a good game but I have to give it a thumbs down so that those that get motion sick from certain games like me can see it I guess, But Yeah this game hits your motion sickness extremely heavily...

As much as I love this game the collision is waaaaay too inconsistent for me to appreciate it properly. I have recordings of my hands phasing through rock and missing/going through rocks. Yeah no. Don't play this.
