Hello Combatants! From all of us here at Veewo Games, we would like to send the biggest thank you to everybody who has jumped into the upgraded Abyss 2.0 during our single player playtest (which is now closed).

We wanted to let you know a little about the impact you’ve had and tell you about our upcoming plans for the Neon Abyss 2 multiplayer Playtest (sign up to the newsletter, now at https://neonabyss.com )!

After just a week we’ve seen over 50,000 combatants jump into the Abyss. This has been an incredible number of players, and it’s been great to see your screenshots, video clips and livestreams of your time in game. We hope that you’ll continue to share in the Official Veewo Discord[discord.gg] and by tagging us over on X (Twitter)[x.com].

We’ve also been thrilled to have more then 3,000 in-depth feedback reports from those who jumped into the game. Within this feedback, over 91% of you said you were likely to recommend Neon Abyss 2 to friends. This has been great to let us know that we are moving along the right lines.

Of course, equally important is knowing where we can improve on our game. Your feedback was packed with constructive areas and imaginative new ideas. Our team have already begun to work on these areas, and we wanted to send our sincere thanks for the positive impact your feedback will have for our release and for the next playtest!

On that subject, we’re thrilled to announce that there WILL be another playtest prior to launch. In addition to what you’ve experienced so far, the next playtest will allow you to jump into the Abyss 2.0 in multiplayer!

It’s time to jump into the upgraded Abyss 2.0. We’re welcoming Cybermyth Combatants into our Neon Abyss 2 single-player Playtest which is live now! It’s been some time since we last emerged from the depths of void below. Since then, the team have continued to build on what you loved from the first game.

In the new single-player playtest, Cybermyth Combatants will be able to experience a good deal of what the upgraded Abyss has to offer. For this playtest that means an all-new weapons system, an upgraded abyss with HD visuals and unique themes for each new level, the Godly new Faith system and enhanced Hatchimon companions.

The new weapons system will allow Cybermyth Combatants to wield much more than just incredible beam and bullet firearms. Weapons will now include swords, magic, exes, fists and much more. As well as this, each weapon will also bring unique attacks and mechanics, as well as potential synergies with hundreds of items.

The new Faith system evolves the Wisdom and Violence system from Abyss 1.0. Belief will allow Cybermyth Combatants to select an alignment within each level of the Abyss, meaning players can modify the way you play to unlock new temples and vital upgrades.

Hatchmon companions within the new Abyss 2.0 will help players just as they did before. Now, however, you’ll be able to combine Hatchimons to synthesize a bunch of new super-pets, each with their own unique special effects.
