Steam Remote Play Together is a great gimmick but there are many tips to play, I think seller should describe manuals how to play remote play together before use buy it.
Instead of Story mode, go into Arcade Mode. For whatever reason it'll force the remote player into P3 slot, but that's fine. Both of you select your characters and start Arcade Mode into the first level. Once the level starts, pause and quit out back to the main menu. Go back into Story Mode now and it should just suddenly work with the remote player as P2 (at least it did for us). But heads up that you have to do this every time you restart the game from Steam if you want to continue in story mode. Disappointing this wasn't caught before release, clearly people were going to use remote play to do coop.
thanks, ill try
