Not with 1 life but definitely 1cc'd the game a few times.

1 life clear but I'm pretty sure it was the regular NES version. I'll have to go back to my copy of the anniversary collection and check since it luckily recorded the whole playthrough. Also did the same for super c.

I did beat Contra back in the day. Super C too.
Certainly not with 1 life. I find that very hard to believe.
The Konami code was your friend.

Yes, I did it under 10 minutes with my cousin back in the 90s too... CONTRA is my favorite series of all time.

I did beat Contra 1 with one life, Super C with one life and Contra Hard Corps with one life. I never sat down, trying to do that for Contra 3, but a friend did.

Operation Galuga is not really hard, since everything seen here is ripped out from one of the 8bit or 16bit games.
