Yup, I'm gonna wait for a discount here. Though in that time, it could very well be, another good game releases that I am willing to throw my cash at. Though to be fair, this is my humble POV.
That game is extremely boring.
Never was able to play it more than 30 minutes overall.
After seeing the whole game I have to say its mid at best. Each stage is a mix of stuff we already seen in prior titles, which is not a bad thing by itself. The issue I have, is that they just plainly take over things from prior games and then not do due diligence in the level design.
What do I mean, there are so many spots where on first look you wonder "how am I supposed to traverse that spot?".
Contra Operation Galuga is for me a mid game, it is nice enough if you want to relive old stuff in a new graphic, but if you come expecting to be blown off your seat, something the older games, especially the 16 bit iterations, could manage easily... you are at the wrong game.
Talking about boring when you have 400 hours on Fallout 4 lol
They should have rather cut the voice acting, and had made like Contra Hard Corps multiple stages.
Edit: I checked your screenshots and no you did not.
I don't know why they created such cheesy childish cutscenes. They should have used that time to create stages.
There aren't any memorable and exciting stages in this game. I'd rather be playing a classic Contra game - at least those feel intense and exciting. This is a boring slog with no intensity.
