Kids can't handle the NES.
I dont think it will be as hard as the original.
Just look at the level 1 boss. In the original it was one fortress, now it's two, and baddies keep running onto the screen.
i was around to experience Contra Hardcorps on the Genesis
this is a joke, a sad reskin, give it up it's not a generational thing
Actually, the crew working on this know their stuff. It should be at least half decent.
Bar is way too low these days for any Konami's game, they rocked in the 90's but then they screwed it up.
If anything, it's the hardcore contra fans that's going to give the reviews it deserves. Negative reviews are generally in response in either the game being crap or the devs/publisher behind it being crap.
'Review bombing' is honestly a excuse people use when a game, a dev or a publisher comes under criticism.
