Can it be played by the color-blind?
I'm not completely color-blind, but enough to impair the recognition of what color small objects are. Whenever I see a colorful game like this I'm worried I will be able to even play it.

Any thoughts?

Hi, I made the game so take this with a grain of salt!

David Kanaga, who did all the music for Dyad is partially colour-blind. I think he has the somewhat common red/green problem. We went through the whole game together and adjusted the colours so he could play them without a problem.

Colour *IS* a very important gameplay aspect. It's possible, depending on how your colour blindness works that you'll have no trouble playing, but it's also possible that the game will be unplayable.

I also have this common form of red/green partial color-blindness, so that's encouraging. I will watch some more footage of the game to help me decide. I don't mind having a slight handicap, as long as I can still kinda play :)

Thanks for your helpful answer!

Thats too bad... I have a few other common and uncommon color defecientcies. It would be cool if in the future you could test with colorblind people to help you offer some sort of colorblind mode. Most color based games do have consessions for people unfortunate enough to be colorblind. Until a colorblind mode is added I think I'm gonna have to pass.
