Fix for Windows 10 players.

You might have noticed a freeze bug in MinerWars 2081 when using Windows 10. We want to keep the game in good, playable shape, so as of today, this bug is fixed. Happy playing !

im still having the same problem as i was before, when i try to get to the first objective on the mission where you need to steal the Chinese cargo ship full of plutonium, i get into the mine and the game freezes and crashes, every time, i cant play the game until this bug is fixed.

I cant get into the game it comes up with a small black screen then it crashes. PLEASE FIX I REALLY WANT TO PLAY.

Wouldn't know, last time I played it was after I built my desktop with a fresh Win10 install and this game crashed every time I tried to play it. It was years ago and I haven't tried to play it since.

Thanks for the response Lightning Surge. I was thinking about it but I had seen a few such complaints about Windows 10 issues. And. It seems the new owners of the former developer of Miner Wars 2081 have no interest in updating it. So much so that I stumbled onto a site that is giving away the source code for the game. Maybe someone with coding talent might snap up one of these source codes and the game files and make an update to fix it under Windows 10 sometime in the future. I know I liked playing it on my older computer. I may have to dig that one out and set it back up and play some more.. Never know? Right? We can hope. At least those of us who actually enjoyed playing it.

The game, as long as I only play single player mode in STEAM plays fine on my Windows 7 machine. It still will NOT play on my Windows 10 machine.
